Hello! My name is TheNinjaKingOW, and today I would like to discuss what is NinjaWFC.

What is NinjaWFC?

NinjaWFC is a DWC Wii Server meant to replicate the old play style of NintendoWFC. The server is meant to be a 24/7 replacement for the now dead AltWFC however, will probably never reach the same standards.

Wow, NinjaWFC sounds cool, is there anything important I need to know?

NinjaWFC is not, and will not be as secure as something like Wiimmfi (which in itself isn't even as secure). On DWC servers like NewWFC and NinjaWFC, it is way easier for hackers to run unintended code onto other wiis, and steal information. The best way to prevent this is thru the use of cheat codes.

When does development of this server start? When will it be publicly released?

Development of the Webpage has already started however, no server work has been done. Development is likely to start this week (12-19-2020/12-26-2020). The server will be publicly released when NinjaKing finishes all private testing.

How can I help?

NinjaKing is looking for people who can help secure the server's security. While stuff like this may be challenging on a DWC server, it is needed to keep it's users information secure. NinjaKing might also need help with the server itself.

Hey Mario Kart Wii community, modders and enthusiasts,
I'd like to request a Gecko code that lets you unlock single karts/bikes and characters. 

I'm aware that there is a code for unlocking everything, but 1. I want to unlock as much as possible myself and 2. strangely, the game won't save Time Trail data, even though I have really good times (2:09 on Warios Gold Mine for example, beaten the developer, but the game won't save my ghost data).

So I am in need of a code that unlocks only the karts/bikes and characters you'd get from Time Trial (Birdo and Toadette, Sprinter and Spear.
I already have Funky Kong, Baby Luigi, Tiny Titan and Magikruiser because it still worked a few days ago).

I'm not really good with coding and all that technical stuff, so if someone could make that code it would be much appreciated :D

hi, i'm maya!! i'm 15, and have been playing this game since i can remember :). i've been using mods like ctgp since around 2012 and have been modding since around that time too. i didnt take a big interest in mkw modding until earlier this year and i have mainly focused on file edits and basic custom track creation. i'm interested in learning ASM and developing codes and have some ideas, though ADHD has discouraged me a little. i have largely lost interest in this game but i do enjoy modding and playing casually from time to time. 

if my interactions are a little shallow i'm sorry, but i haven't had a consistently positive experience with this game's community so i am cautious about who i interact with. despite that i love making friends and hope to have a good time here :))

I hope it's okay for me to post here - i don't know exactly where this would go..

I've been working on a gamemode, it's not particularly interesting but i've put lots of effort into how it looks because i want it to be pretty :). In the menus i want to completely rid of the ugly gold and blue outlines on the text in favour of a red. however, i found that in most cases it would have to be changed via code rather than editing the BRLYT as i have been doing. 

I was able to edit the license FC text colour (including the outline) in Switch Toolbox (Title.szs > common_w076_license_icon_center.brlyt > Materials > l_number > Colors) but didn't get much further than that. For example, even after changing everything remotely gold or blue looking in any Title.szs brlyt, the text in the Main Menu screen retained the gold/blue outline:





it really doesn't work with the rest of the menu edits, so if anyone could help me change it with codes/hex editing (or perhaps i'm missing something in the BRLYT?) that would be rly good :))
i'd love to be able to change all of them but specifically the in-game menu and the main menu are most important to me
