La Befana ("la" just means "the", btw) comes on January 6 and brings candy and sweets (or coal if you've been naughty) (or a type of candy that looks like coal if your parents are humorous). Christmas presents are brought by Babbo Natale, which translates to Father Christmas, which is just Santa. In my grandma's days they were brought by Gesù bambino, which translates to baby Jesus. None of this is important but whatever, it annoyed me so much to hear that mistake by JJ whatever years ago
