Those aren't the real Chinese tops. Those are just times done on Wiimmfi from users applying the Chinese Region ID via Cheat Codes.
Also. the iso you are mentioning that you possess, I'm gonna assume is the fake RMCC01 iso made in Traditional Chinese by A9*Star (Not the Star on these forums). That ISO should have been made with the game ID of RMCW01 since it's suppose to represent a Taiwan ISO, not a Chinese one. NIntendo uses the letter W for Taiwan games in the game ID (ex: SSQW01 - Taiwan Mario Party 9)

And thank you for signing up on the forums!
Yes this is from ACGHH ISO , but it has all the hex edited main.dol and Static.ReL ( thats what i meant by iso with chinese stuff ) , but you are saying that Chinese tops on 1st post were before wiimmfi if i presume , so the 10 ghosts in Luigi Circuit is only who hacked their iso/disk to Chinese game , but on wiimmfi only
and no problem , very useful for tutorials and stuff!

The Chinese tops on the 1st post are the real Chinese tops from the old Nintendo Leaderboards before WFC was shutdown.
And yes, some of those times were meant to be mimic/troll. In fact, some of those times were set by me back in 2016/17 (lol).

Ninrankings has some of these ghosts preserved here: https://maschell.de/ghostdatabase/profil...d=58946518 ( The ones with the 2008-07-25 date or earlier. The other ones have been made way after the WFC shutdown, Ninrankings will display 2008 again after 2015, so the page incorrectly display the dates for those "fake" ghosts).
These are all from the same Wii, and the ghost creation dates range from July 23rd to 25th, 2008 ( for reference, the Korean version of the game was likely built on July 17th, 2008, according to the Mario Kart Channel data).
Did XeR ever shared a save file backup of his, or similar, while showcasing the Chinese rankings? We could possibly still recover some useful data regarding the Chinese rankings from them, from both rksys.dat and wc24dl.vff. Even if the game doesn't show them, there could still be leftover remnant data.

Good point about that profile showing those ghosts were from the same Wii, I never knew that exact link existed! I should have scanned thru the website better back in the day. I may have to fix the Top 10's then, but the hypothesis is that these Chinese Times were made by iQue employees so it's very possible Wiis were shared. Chinese Wiis were never release/made-public.
Regarding the Korean release date, there are some a couple of Chinese files within the Korean Game. There was a hypthoseiss that the Korean game was going to be like the Japan Game. In the sense that the game contains two possible Region ID outputs, and the Region ID is set based on what Country Code is set in the Wii's SYSCONF. This never materialized because if you apply the Chinese Country Code while using the Korean Game, you still get the Korean Region ID. More info - https://mariokartwii.com/showthread.php?tid=8
No, XeR never shared a save/backup file of any kind.

Yep! The strongest evidence of the relationship between the Korean and the unreleased Chinese version is the fact that the non-empty .svn remnants found in the Korean ISO's CHANNEL partition shows that the branch the Korean version was being developed was known as ChinaKorea. For example, here's how the .svn file associated to the "installer" folder within said partition looks like:
Code: Path: .
URL: http://metis/svnprojects/revokart/branches/ChinaKorea/RevoKart/lib/RVL_SDK/dvddata/installer
Relative URL: ^/branches/ChinaKorea/RevoKart/lib/RVL_SDK/dvddata/installer
Repository Root: http://metis/svnprojects/revokart
Repository UUID: 7fdc3869-ac1f-0410-91b3-fa73b20fd412
Revision: 25892
Node Kind: directory

That's a good theory too, though I can't confirm much farther from looking at the code unfortunately. The Chinese asset leftovers in the Korean version + the NVIDIA Shield stuff (likely a port / hack of the unreleased iQue version, considering that uses the same font as the Korean version) + the China region appears to really be all that we have at the moment.
I wish there were more save files available for us to look at... Do we know of any other people who had accessed the China rankings in the WFC days that could potentially share a save with us? Not too long ago, I was helping some of the Time Trial Discord community members to get things like Miis and old ranking times left in wc24dl.vff, which the game didn't appear to show easily without hacks (such as old Competition ranking times, which normally require you to first connect to WFC, even though a simple change in the code makes you be able to enter those rankings just fine). We could do something similar if we had a save file that had WFC China stuff on it.
