EDIT 2: I like the Italian version better. It basically says that a person is stupid if they willingly behave like a stupid. The English one to me feels like "if a person does something stupid then they are stupid", which is not something I agree with. Maybe I'm misunderstanding it, or maybe my definition of "something stupid" is too broad. idk
