Have any of you every used the dollar sign to mean "such that"?
My username is in Scottish Gaelic. If you speak that language, please tell me how to pronounce it properly.

I've used it for a while now. A friend of mine like four years ago made me notice that if you write an S and a T on top of each other you kinda get the dollar sign, so that's why he used it as the "such that" sign. And I've started using it too because the other options were using | which can also mean "divides", using : which can mean a whole lot of things, and writing "s.t." which is ugly (or "t.c." for "tale che" in Italian, which is what I used before)

By the way, I only use the dollar sign like that in my notes. In exams or in my theses I've used other things because I didn't want to be seen as the weird one or something. That friend of mine used it in several exams and had no issues tho, so maybe I should gather a bit more courage and use it as well...
