Choose a real number n between 0 and 100 such that you consider the following options as equivalent:

• being intentionally really mean to a close friend of yours, knowing that this will end your friendship for good;
  
• having an n% chance of causing the death of a random stranger.
  

Choose 0 if you would always be mean to a friend if there is even the slightest chance that someone would die otherwise. Choose 100 if you would never ever be mean to a friend.

(I don't know what number I would choose precisely but maybe around 0.001?)
