Aiuto! Aiuto! C'è l'arbitro cornuto!

So, I don't really watch football/soccer, but I'm aware of this chant that can be used to ehm express discontent with the referee's calls. It literally translates to "Help! Help! The referee has horns!" (well, I guess it literally literally translates to "Help! Help! There's the horned referee!"), but in Italian to say that someone has horns means to say that their significant other cheated on them. It can be used as an insult (like in this chant), though in this case it doesn't need to be accurate and I've never heard it directed to a woman. Idk if there's a similar thing in English. Anyway, I'm aware of this chant but idk how common it actually is, I'm guessing most of the time it's just boos and stuff.

I mean unfortunately a significant part of the culture around that sport tends to be that way (I think it's more of a Europe thing than an Italy thing, or maybe just western Europe idk), which is the main reason why I don't follow it.
