I have to be honest, this would be a pretty funny idea to include in a modpack of some sort where you can enable or disable invisible vehicles.
However, it'd be more interesting to see this code being more "faithful" to the box art where the shadows still appear. The code currently makes the whole kart_model fully invisible. It'd be a fun reference at least.

Tried this code in local multiplayer but found it doesn't work with 2 or 4 players playing unfortunately.
