Frame rate / game speed
#1
Hello,
Do you know anything about reducing game speed regardless of frames per second in dolphin emulator ?
With the help of "Force 30 FPS" code :

30 fps / half speed : 004250D4 00000002

60 fps / double speed : 0029FD69 00000001

I think if you put the value higher for one of them it will make the game even slower

Yes, for example : 004250D4 00000004 : fps and speed are divided by 4 instead of 2.
I'm looking for a way to get high framerates like 120 fps without increasing game speed.

For me, the current speed is suitable, no need to increase the speed anymore.

If you want to adjust the frame rate but keep the video length the same, FFmpeg will duplicate or remove frames. What starts off as a steady, smooth movement can end up seeming awkward and unnatural in the final product because of this process.

It seems like the FPS needs to be 60 for the game speed to be at 100%, so anything lower than 60 FPS reduces the game speed, making the game unplayable and not to mention it is most likely, by logical means, going to de-sync any other players (online). fireboy and watergirl

Is there a way to remove the game speed. Excuse the lack of knowledge I have regarding emulators but why can't I simply play at, for instance, 40 fps at full speed?
