48 codetype was basically the way ASM coders back in the day (08-10) would use if they could not get an initial C2 ASM to execute the way they want to.

No knock to the old school guys as there was literally no ASM/PPC documentation anywhere.

I've used this old code plenty of times in the olden days for Korea.

Works fine. How are applying your cheats? That could be the issue.

Since there's a lot of demand for this code (i guess it's useful for alt-ers/ban-bypassers who constantly delete their data saves and licenses), I went ahead and added Star Rank selection to the code.

Added this on my korean iso, and now everytime I try to connect to wiimmfi it just freezes on the loading screen.

This code has been around for years and years. So if it's not working for you, it's either how you patched your game, or how you are applying your cheats, that is causing the issue. Try just running this code alone and nothing else, if you haven't done that yet.
